Terms of Service
The agreement between you and LyfPath. It sets out what the app does, what it deliberately does not do, and what we each owe the other.
Accepting these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the LyfPath mobile application, this website, and everything we provide through them (together, the “Service”). “LyfPath”, “we” and “us” mean LyfPath Intelligence, the company operating the Service; “you” means the person using it.
You accept these Terms when you create an account or otherwise use the Service. If you do not agree with them, do not use it. Our Privacy Policy forms part of this agreement.
If you build a picture that covers other people in your household, you confirm you are entitled to record what you record about them, and that you will tell them you have done so.
What LyfPath is — and is not
LyfPath is an information and education service. It reads what you own, what you owe and what you are aiming at, scores how your money is doing, forecasts your goals from the numbers you give it, and names one thing to do next.
Almost every free money app earns its keep by selling you something. LyfPath does not. We are not paid by any fund, insurer or bank for what appears in your app, and nothing is ranked or featured because someone paid for the slot.
LyfPath does not
- recommend, rate, rank or endorse any financial instrument, scheme or provider;
- execute a trade, transfer, payment or redemption, or hold your money;
- distribute, broker or sell any financial product;
- earn commission, brokerage, referral fees or any other product-linked payment;
- act as your investment adviser, financial adviser, portfolio manager, broker, insurance agent, tax adviser or lawyer.
Nothing in the Service is investment, tax, insurance or legal advice. LyfPath shows you consequences under assumptions you can see and change. What you do about them is your decision, and we recommend you take independent, qualified advice before acting on anything you see in the app.
LyfPath is not a bank, a payment system or a regulated financial intermediary.
Launch status and availability
LyfPath is launching at the end of November 2026 on iOS and Android. Until then, parts of this website describe features as they are intended to ship.
The Service is offered on an “as available” basis. We may change, add or remove features, and we may suspend it for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Where a change materially reduces what the Service does for you, we will give you reasonable notice and, where practical, a way to take your data with you first.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
One account belongs to one person. You are responsible for everything done through your account, for keeping access to it secure, and for the accuracy of the details you give us. Tell us promptly at support@lyfpathintelligence.com if you believe someone else has reached your account.
The figures you enter
Everything LyfPath shows you is built from figures you provide: what comes in and goes out each month, what you hold and owe, the cover you carry, the people who depend on you, and the assumptions behind your forecasts.
You are responsible for the accuracy of those figures. Rough amounts are fine and the picture sharpens as you add detail, but LyfPath does not independently verify anything you type and cannot tell you that a number is wrong. A more complete profile produces a more reliable score and forecast; it does not make an inaccurate entry accurate.
The WIS score
The WIS score summarises how your money is doing across five pillars — Action, Awareness, Resilience, Navigation and Advancement — each worth up to 20 points, for a total out of 100.
It is a view of the picture you have entered, not a credit score, a rating, or an assessment any third party has made of you. It is not used to decide whether you may have a financial product, and it carries no meaning outside the app. Where a pillar is scored low, that reflects the data you have given us about that pillar.
Goals, allocation and priority
A goal in LyfPath is a record, not an account. Two consequences follow, and they matter:
- Allocation is a label. Pointing an investment, a property or an asset at a goal earmarks it for tracking. No money moves, nothing is reserved or ring-fenced, and no instruction goes to any institution. Nothing is pointed at a goal until you say so.
- Priority is a display rule. Ranking a goal as essential changes how LyfPath shows the effect of a squeeze on your other goals. It does not protect, reserve or move any money on your behalf.
The same holding can inform more than one goal only to the extent you allocate it, and the app will show you what is left to allocate.
Forecasts, AI and machine learning
LyfPath's forecasts are produced by statistical and machine-learning models running over the figures you enter and the history you build up in the app. They simulate many possible income and market paths to produce a likely range for each goal, and they flag when a goal starts drifting behind.
A forecast is a projection, not a prediction, and never a recommendation. Every forecast shows the assumptions behind it — inflation, income growth, healthcare costs, life expectancy, retirement age — and you can change any of them.
Please read every projection with these limits in mind:
- assumed returns are not a guarantee of future returns, and past patterns in your own data may not continue;
- a range describes modelled outcomes, not the bounds of what can actually happen;
- a “smallest fix” suggestion is arithmetic on your own inputs, not advice to take that action;
- models can be wrong, and a forecast that got sharper is not a forecast that became certain;
- what-if scenarios are sandboxes — testing one never changes your live plan unless you save it.
No automated decision producing a legal or similarly significant effect on you is made by the Service.
Community
Community is a moderated space where you can post updates and questions, run polls, comment, like, share and save, and follow topics.
What you agree to
- You own what you post, and you are responsible for it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute your posts within the Service for as long as they remain published.
- Do not post another person's financial details, contact details or identifying information.
- Do not solicit, advertise, promote or sell any financial product or service, and do not give personalised financial advice to another member.
- Do not post anything unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, misleading, or designed to manipulate.
- Do not manipulate polls, or use multiple accounts to amplify a position.
Your numbers, and ours
Nothing from your financial profile, goals or WIS score appears in a post unless you put it there yourself. You can delete any post at any time. We may remove content or restrict an account where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.
Other members' posts are their opinions. Nothing in Community is endorsed, verified or checked by LyfPath, and none of it is advice.
Learn content and partners
Learn carries two kinds of material, and every piece is labelled with which it is:
- LyfPath Originals, made by our own team;
- Expert partner resources from specialists we vet and onboard.
No one pays to be featured in Learn, and a partner's presence is not a recommendation of any product they may offer elsewhere. Learn material is general education, not advice about your situation, and we do not warrant that a third party's content is accurate or current. Content is licensed to you for personal use within the app.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully, or for anyone else's account without their permission;
- scrape, crawl, bulk-download or reverse-engineer the Service, or extract its models, scoring logic or content for a competing product;
- use the Service or its outputs to train another model;
- interfere with its operation, probe its security, or circumvent any limit or gate;
- upload malware, or anything that could damage the Service or another user;
- present LyfPath's output as regulated financial advice, whether yours or ours.
Pricing
LyfPath's revenue never comes from financial products. Pricing for the app itself is being finalised ahead of launch. If we introduce a paid plan, we will tell you the price, the billing period and what it includes before you are charged, and you will have to choose it. Any applicable tax will be shown at the point of payment.
Intellectual property
The Service — its software, design, models, scoring methodology, Learn content, and the LyfPath name and marks — belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own planning, and nothing more.
Your own data and your Community posts remain yours. The licence in the Community section above exists only so we can run the Service.
Deletion and termination
You may stop using LyfPath at any time, and you can delete everything from Settings. Deletion erases your profile, financial data, goals and posts for good, subject only to any retention period the law requires. It cannot be undone.
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or if we reasonably believe your use puts other users or the Service at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
Clauses that by their nature should survive termination — intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, governing law — do survive it.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any figure, score, forecast, range, alert or suggestion is accurate, complete or current, or that any modelled outcome will occur. We do not warrant anything another member posts in Community, or any third-party content in Learn.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LyfPath will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, savings, investment return, opportunity, data or goodwill, however it arises.
We are not liable for any financial decision you take, or do not take, in reliance on a score, forecast, range, alert, suggestion, lesson or Community post. Those decisions are yours, which is precisely why we show you the arithmetic behind them.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or ₹5,000.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the competent courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.
Before starting formal proceedings, please write to us at support@lyfpathintelligence.com so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes or the law requires. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date above, and for material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use LyfPath after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
